OUR INTERIOR PAINTING PROCESS

1. Take Photos

Before beginning any interior painting services in Camarillo, we take pictures of items in areas to be painted so we can put things back in the original way. We know that we are entering your personal space when we arrive – and we want it to remain just as it is. Other than your new, high-quality finished paint job, you will find your space exactly how it was before we arrived.

2. Protect Furniture

We then put all the furniture in the middle and cover furniture, counter tops, appliance and furnishings with plastic to protect from dust and paint; masking and covering the floor and path ways. We take time and care with your furniture and flooring, treating your belongings as our own.

3. Remove Hardware

We remove hardware such as plugs, switch plates, window treatments and handles; or cover items if not removing. These items are small and often overlooked. However, we know that removing then can make the difference of a job well done.

4. Patch

Before we begin any painting, we patch ceiling and wall cracks; applying texture to match the existing wall and ceiling textures. Wear and tear happens throughout your home, especially as the foundation settles. In doing so, it is not uncommon to find small cracks in the walls and on the ceiling. The application of texture will make these cracks seem to disappear, leaving you with a perfect finish.

5. Sand

Then, we sand all the wood surfaces including doors and door casings, window trims and sill, baseboards etc., and fill the imperfections with appropriate filler. Every home has imperfections, but with a little attention, All Climate Painting & Waterproofing can turn them into perfections.

6. Caulk

Caulking gaps around all wood trims, doors and baseboards using high-quality elastomeric caulking occurs next. This is because moisture can cause extreme damage to your walls. That is why it is very important to do a thorough search for any potential entry spot – and rid your home of it before it can cause harm.

7. Prime

We spot prime the repairs and patches on the walls and the ceiling. Every project, we apply 2 coats of high-quality acrylic paint to ceiling and wall surfaces. We also take an extra step to prime the repaired areas. It is this special treatment that gives our jobs a glowing finish.

8. Paint

During our interior painting services in Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and surrounding areas, we then apply 1 full coat of primer to all the wood trim and baseboards. After meticulously priming all surfaces, we then apply 2 coats of high-quality acrylic paint to all wood surfaces.

9. Install Hardware & Furniture

We then re-install all the hardware; remove all coverings and tapes; and thoroughly clean the entire work area and discard all debris. Next is putting back furniture and items to appropriate placement. As stated above, your space will be returned to its original appearance - with the addition of your repairs, patches, and freshly painted walls, of course.

10. Final Inspection
