Uniform Cabinet Installation and Remodeling - All Climtate Painting and Remodeling

A Unified Look

The key to a unified look is how each individual part of the room relates to the others and the entire room as a whole. It does not mean the entire room must be the same – same color, same door style and same materials etc. Rather, the unity of the design means that all dissimilar items or elements of space are visually tied together in an organized, logical and balanced yet interesting way.

We often see the wall cabinets and base cabinets with 2 different color tones, or the island cabinets comes in a different color and finish from the rest of the cabinets. Those are examples of unified yet interesting look.

Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinet Installation - All Climate Painting and Remodeling

A Timeless Look

Since you are not going to remodel your kitchen or bathroom every 3 to 5 years, your overall design and cabinetry need to stand the test of time.

We concentrate on proven styles and solid quality which is based on the appropriateness and durability of the products.

We usually ask our clients, “will this be considered pleasing and beautiful 5 years from now?” If the answer is no, then you may try a more neutral approach for these long-lasting areas. Our cabinet installers help you to choose your timeless look.

You probably have heard the terms of “framed” and “frameless” cabinets, which refer to the different types of construction of the cabinet, but what is the difference between them, and most importantly, which one is better for your dream kitchen or bathroom? All Climate Roofing can provide both framed and frameless options during our cabinet installation.

Framed Cabinets

American cabinet manufacturers have traditionally built cabinets using a framed construction.

In this type of cabinet construction, the sides, back, top and bottom of the cabinet all joined and attached to the face frame, which is the primary support for the cabinet.

In framed cabinetry, the cabinet doors are secured to the frame, which gives the cabinet strength and sturdiness.

Partial and full overlay, as well as inset cabinet doors, can be used with framed cabinets, giving you many design possibilities for creating a customized look for your cabinetry. As you can choose from different types of overlay, in addition to inset doors, you can mix-and-match around your kitchen. This provides the ability to create a beautiful, uniform kitchen that begins with your cabinetry.

The disadvantage of framed cabinetry is that it has less interior storage as they typically have a center stile in the middle of each cabinet.

Frameless Cabinets

Frameless cabinet construction is a European way of manufacturing cabinets that has become popular among American homeowners seeking simple, more contemporary cabinet designs. Frameless cabinetry is sometimes called "full access" cabinetry because it offers greater accessibility by eliminating the face frame. Instead, it relies on thicker box construction for stability. Only full overlay doors can be used, with hinges attached directly to the sides of the cabinet box.

In frameless construction, cabinets do not have a face frame attached to the front of the cabinet box. After they have been installed, all you will see are the flat door and drawer fronts, providing a sleek, simple aesthetic that can work with many design themes throughout the home.

Frameless cabinets do not have a center stile coming down in the middle of the two cabinet doors, providing easier access to the items inside, as well as more storage space to work with. The shelves are typically adjustable. Drawers in frameless cabinetry also tend to be larger because of the space saved by not having a face frame attached to the front.

We offer both framed and frameless cabinet installation. The modern and contemporary styles of cabinets are mostly frameless; the traditional and classic styles of cabinets often come in framed. This difference can help you choose the right style for your room.

The materials and finishing methods used on exposed parts of the cabinets are both factors in cabinet quality and price. Here are some common categories of cabinet finish.

  1. Stained Wood: natural wood stained with either transparent or semi-transparent finish to show the natural variation and grain pattern of the wood.
  2. Painted Wood: use high quality paint baked on or sprayed on to achieve the ultra-smooth finish with either matte or semi-gloss sheen
  3. Melamine, Foil, Vinyl, Laminte Surfaces: usually used in modern style cabinetry. These commonly use resin, acrylic and chemical compounds and are usually applied to some types of engineered core or MDF. Depending on the materials and manufacturing process, they can create a variety of finishes, some duplicate the look and feel of natural wood, and some comes in highly glossy finish.

Our well-designed organization options make your space functional as well as stylish. Everything has its place so items are accessible, and it is a breeze to keep tidy with items tucked away and out of sight. Take a note of these ideas and you can discuss with our kitchen designers when we design your cabinetry project.

Our cabinet installation services are not just limited to kitchen. You can explore our endless opportunities in the bathroom, home office, entertainment center, bar, and closet. We can help you achieve your dream home.
