A UNIFIED LOOK: The key to a unified look is how each individual part of the room relates to the others and the entire room as a whole. STAINED WOOD
Natural wood stained with either transparent or semi-transparent finish to show the natural variation and grain pattern of the wood.
MELAMINE, FOIL, VINYL, LAMINTE SURFACES
Usually used in modern style cabinetry. These commonly use resin, acrylic, and chemical compounds and are usually applied to some types of engineered core or MDF. Depending on the materials and manufacturing process, they can create a variety of finishes, some duplicate the look and feel of natural wood, and some come in a highly glossy finish.
PAINTED WOOD
Use high-quality paint baked-on or sprayed on to achieve the ultra-smooth finish with either matte or semi-gloss sheen.
